About Ginia
Ginia has been riding all of her life. Her mother was very active in breeding Virginia bred ponies which include Sea Apollo, Beau Dancer, Beau Design, Kiss the Girls (aka Borrowed Wealth) and MEA Gold Card.

Ginia’s success as a trainer starts with her own children, two of whom ride. Daughter Michele was Grand Green Pony champion on Shenandoah Beechwood at the 1999 USEF Pony Finals . Other students have been successful in many prestigious events such as the Tad Coffin Equitation finals, Maclay Regionals, and many more Pony Final appearances.

Ginia started her own business in 1994 (which she named after her children Michele, Eric and Alexa), MEA Farm, in Clifton VA. She feels so blessed to have had the opportunity to begin her business at Jane Dillon’s Junior Equitation School. The farm took on its current name MEA Haven Farm in the year 2000, where she continues to train riders and horses at all levels from short stirrup to adults. Ginia is proud of her farm and its strong emphasis on good riding and good health. She feels fortunate to have trained champions at all levels, and knows that her next young champion is always just around the corner!
